Arlen's been stuck in his wolf form for months and he's had to watch his mate fall in love with another man and live with him. To his surprise, Arlen falls in love with both men, so when he becomes human again, he knows exactly what he wants—both Gentry and Nick. Gentry helps Arlen to become human again, but when Nick finds out Arlen is his mate, Gentry thinks he'll have to leave the man he loves. Then Arlen proposes a threesome solution, but Gentry is hesitant. Nick accepts Arlen's solution more easily, even though he isn't sure his wolf will be happy with it. But the wolf wants both Gentry and Arlen, and after a bit of stumbling, the three settle in their new throuple. Will Nick and Arlen be able to resist the urge to mate and really include Gentry, or will Gentry end up alone and rejected? And how will their families and friends react to their solution?

By Heather Leonard I love this series, and the Whitedell Pride series, and I thought this one was very well written. Most of the book is written from Arlen's point of view, but we do get insight into Gentry and Nick as well. The flow was good, and the emotions and insecurites that come along with a situation like this felt real and fleshed out. I wish it was a bit longer, but then again I wish all of these books were longer. In this particular book though, I wish we had gotten more. It wasn't that anything was really unresolved, but it would have been nice to see the guys fully secure in their relationship, and I don't feel like they QUITE got there. They were certainly on their way, but just not quite there. And this is only a personal preference, but I think it would have been nice if there was a way they could have all claimed each other and have Gentry be able to be a part of that, maybe as a bonded mate even though he wasn't a true mate. Overall, this book lived up to the rest of the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as I do every book I have read by Catherine Lievens. Looking forward to seeing what she does with this new threat.

And I guess I might be a bit biased since I have been editing for Catherine from the start, yet I have to say something here.Arlen was very hard for her write, yet, the story line goes with everything Whitedell and Gillham are about. They only get one mate in life, yet Gentry deserved to have a HEA as well as Nick and Arlen. I also have to say this was one of my favorites of the series. The love and acceptance that Arlen has for Gentry is just exceptional I thought. This also goes with the character that was created for him, he is willing to give up his mate bond for everyone to be happy and that no one is left out. This is the kind of love I want to read about and hope that is out there in the real world. So yes, there is no mate bond bite in this book, yet the love that is written about is the same as throughout the series. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Book Review by Brandilyn By PrismBookAlliance 4 of 5 StarsFor original review, please visit the Prism Book Alliance® blog online.I have mixed feelings over Arlen’s story. First of all, we needed it. Second of all it answered some interesting questions. Finally, I don’t like menage. It just isn’t my trope. However, I am so invested in this series, I couldn’t NOT read it. Not to mention the fact that Nick and Gentry, two characters whose HEAs I needed are involved. If you have been reading the series along with me, then you know Nick and Gentry are dating and in love. You also know that they aren’t true mates since Gentry lost his mate years ago. You know that Nick hasn’t found his mate. That left me wondering how the author was going to handle these two beloved characters getting ripped apart when Nick’s mate came into the picture. Little did we know that his mate WAS in the picture. We have already had two non-mates in love being torn apart by one or the other finding his true mate (see Bryce and Keenan’s story over in Whitedell). The answer is that she doesn’t break them up. Again, mixed feelings there for me. However, it intrigued me.All too often triads happen way too easily. That is not the case here. It is work, but work all three are willing to undertake. It is probably more work than some readers will want. They don’t just fall into bed and have hot sex. They talk. They work through feelings. They deal with jealousy. They fight their inner wolves. They come together.I am not completely confident it will work in the long term. I could see some sort of three-way mating working out for them. Come on there has to be a loophole for Gentry. I don’t think all three can deny their wolves forever. However, I like them together. I think they each bring something to the throuple (i.e. triad) that the other two need. I don’t think it would be a complete relationship with just Nick and Arlen. That is the key to menage for me. There is a three-way equality to the relationship. (That and the hot sex isn’t refused)So… Mal? I am ready for whatever is next. Not to mention, we need to know what hurt Gentry!
